Our commitment to our vision and mission empowers us leads us to sponsor three educational events as well as other service projects that benefit our community. In order to pay for these, we have several fundraising events throughout the year.
Live Your Dream Award: Education and Training awards for Women
Soroptimists believe the most effective way to empower women and girls is by providing them with access to education to help them fulfill their potential. Soroptimist of Mt. Adams offers annual cash grants to deserving women in our area. Applications are typically accepted during the last quarter of the year and winners selected in the first quarter each year. Recipients may use the cash grants to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain additional education or training.
