Soroptimist of Mt. Adams offers annual cash grants to deserving women in our area. Applications are typically accepted during the last quarter of the year and winners selected in the first quarter each year. Recipients receive a cash award.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Holiday Happiness Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We come together as an organization to sponsor local families in need during the holiday season. Families are selected each year based on needs and usually identified through the community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s History Month<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We sponsor local community events during Women\u2019s History month. Previous events include speakers, movie screenings, and community events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lela Hudson Memorial Garden<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soroptimist of Mt. Adams maintain a garden plot in honor of Lela Hudson, our first president. This garden is located on the northwest corner of Estes Ave and Green St in White Salmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apples for Educators<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We partner with Mt.
